Soma: Divine mushroom of immortality.The Hague: Mouton, 1968.Ethnomycologist and banker Wasson provided evidence for the important role that hallucinogenic mushrooms - in particular the ubiquitous mushroom Amanita muscaria (fly agaric) - play in various ancient and modern cultures.
