Brief report: Evidence for camel-to-human transmission of MERS coronavirus.New Eng. J. Med., 370, 2499-2505, 2014.Dated June 26, 2014. Using viral genomics and PCR, the Saudi authors demonstrated that full genome sequences of a man, and the camel he had contact with, were identical. Available from nejm.org at this link.
