Report on the state of the anatomical museum of the University of Pennsylvania, 30th June, 1824.Philadelphia: Published by Order of the Trustees, 1824.This 36-page pamphlet is the earliest printed record of Caspar Wispar's museum collection. It was augmented by William Horner, whom Wistar appointed to manage the collection. The combined collections beame known as the Wistar and Horner Museum. Later the collections were managed by Joseph Leidy. In 1892 they became the fondation of the Wistar Institute, the first independent medical research facility in the United States.
