On the structure and reproduction of Filaria medinensis L.Izvest. imp. Obsh. Liub. Estes. (Mosk.), 8, 71-82, 1869 – 1870.Fedchenko, a Russian naturalist and explorer of central Asia, elucidated the life cycle of Dracunculus medinensis, the parasite of dracunculiasis.
